Chester is the softest, tackiest, most advanced grip ever from Race Face. The design process gathered feedback from riders and racers to make sure this grip ticked every box, including style. A perforated core design allows more 20A Durometer rubber to sit between your hands and the bar. Concentrated thickness under the palm increases ride comfort and reduces fatigue. Plus, the angled mushroom ribs wick moisture away for glove-free grip goodness.

The Chester grips are designed with angled mushroom ribs with concentrated thickness under the palms to help whisk moisture away, increase palm comfort, and reduce fatigue. This transforms into a recessed area where the fingers rest to help provide more grip when in use. The inner and outer edges of the grip curve up slightly to provide support on each side of the hand and improve comfort.
The grip features a double-tapered design, with the inside and outside of the grip wider than the central section. A single inside clamp is used to mount the grips, adjusted with a 3mm Allen key, with the bolt positioned at the rear of the grip so there is no interference with the gears or brake levers when tightening the clamp.
Due to the internally tapered core, some force is required to push the Chester grips onto your bars. An enclosed end provides some protection against tree scrapes.
